He rolled through the regular season, posting a league-best 10-2-1 record, nearly tying the all-time regular season wins record (11). However, the Mighty Ducks were upset in the Wildcat Round by the #8 seed Durham Bulls, 158.5-154. This continued what has become a FantasyMania tradition: the #1 seed high-scoring favorite not winning the title. 🏈 Corey Palmer's Durham Bulls made a deep, historic playoff run in 2017. After their incredible upset over the Mighty Ducks, they scored an impressive Final Four victory, defeating Dave Boyer's 8-5 Caddyshack Gophers. Sadly, their Cinderella run came to an excruciating end in the Chandler Bowl, where they narrowly lost to Sarah Johnson-LaBarbera's Million Dollar Baby Daddies, 120.5-119, in the closest championship game in league history.
