🏈 We’ve had two ties in the history of our league. The first took place in week 10 of the 2012 season. The Ladydestroyers (Dave, 8-1) and the Marion Federation (Wes, 1-8) both scored 115.5. However, thanks to a lousy tie-breaking system, Wes was awarded the victory as a result of having more bench points, giving him the second (and final) win of the season. Officially, Dave would finish the year 10-3, but the football gods know his true record was 10-2-1. The second tie occurred during the first round of the 2014 playoffs when the #4 Ventura Brees squared off against #5 Cersei’s Harem Boys. Both teams scored 153.5 points. The Ventura Brees advanced, however, as a result of being the higher seed. They were defeated by the Independent Browncoats (Binkerd) in the Final Four the following week.
🏈 Corey has won the Great Golden Ball twice (2012, 2014). That is, he's scored the most regular season points on two separate occasions. In both seasons, he average 140+ points per game. No other team owner has accomplished that even once. Additionally, he finished 9 points shy of winning the Great Golden Ball in 2011.
🏈 2014 was a rough season for Cary. His Rebel Skins were an early favorite to win the title after a 3-0 start. But his squad went 1-5 in the next 6 and finished the season 6-7. They made the playoffs, but lost in the first round to the Storm’s End Stags (Tim).
🏈 This was the year Krull joined FantasyMania. He defeated Harnish, Tim, and Jordan in the playoffs to capture the League Championship.
