🏈 2011 was my first year as league manager! We were a meager 8-team league. It was also, I think, the first official year for the name "FantasyMania," though as long as this group is playing, it'll always be FantasyMania to me! This was the only year for the Krull Bowl, as Chandler Harnish would be drafted by the Colts in April and our Championship Game renamed in his honor!

🏈 The 4-9 2011 Sounion Olympians (Tim) are the worst team (by win-loss record) to ever reach the championship game. In the first round, Tim’s plucky #7 seeded Olympians defeated the #2 seeded 9-4 Mike Ditka’s Superfans (Boyer) 108.5-96.5. In the second round, they grinded out a 105.5-102.5 victory against the #3 seeded 9-4 Republican Skin (Cary). Matthew Stafford and Steve Smith made big contributions in both games. The Cinderella story came to an end, however, as they lost to the Macho Madness in the title game, 140.5-105.5

🏈 In week 4 of the 2011 season, Harnish (3-0) and Boyer (3-0) faced off in a “Battle of the Unbeatens.” Aaron Rodgers 45 points lifted Boyer’s Shomer Shabbos to a 157-111 Swamp Water Shootout victory. Boyer improved to 4-0 on the season while Harnish fell to 3-1. Boyer’s undefeated season came to an end the very next week against Cory Palmer’s Radagast Browns (168.5-123.5). In week 11, Boyer (8-2) and Harnish (8-3) would square off again, this time with Harnish prevailing 147.5-77.
